There are many, I confess, but there are those that stand out.
It was 1975 and we made it to the first round of the playoffs against the Minnesota Vikings. We played on a field that they just removed all the snow.
Gordie Kraft won the J. Freeland Chryst Award in 2007 and the George W. Kirchner Award in 1999. We asked him for a favorite sports memory.
I have many "favorite" sports memories from high school and college, not to mention from my coaching career. They are all very special and equal to me.
